My works / publications

• Society: Based on my systematic and comprehensive critique of hierarchical social systems (2013) I developed a model of a good society – Pentoutopia (2022). Pentoutopia offers the best conditions for individuals – and (therefore) is the best society imaginable, i.e. the most libertarian, democratic, equal, just and sustainable society possible.
• Organisations: Having analysed the formal and informal (hierarchical) structures and processes of different types of private and public-sector organisations, I created a comprehensive model of the democratic organisation (2020) – an organisation that is owned by its members, where governance, management and decision-making happen democratically, where all members of the organisation are equally empowered and the organisation conducts its business in considerate and responsible ways.
• Management and managers: In several works I have critically examined (orthodox) management and the dominance of managers (2009), the more than questionable interests behind managers’ decisions, the incompetence and immorality of leaders and the managerialistic ideologies that preserve and (try to) justify management and the status of managers and leaders.
